Overview
Dr. Sanjeev Dua is working as a Senior Consultant at Fortis Hospital.
Awarded the Gold Medal for the Best Student in MS (General Surgery) in 1979 from King George's Medical College, Lucknow he went on to complete his M.Ch in Neurosurgery between 1980-83 from the same institute.
In his tenure as the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at G.T.B. Hospital, he was responsible for setting up the department.
He is directly responsible for the Disaster Management protocols and is the coordinating officer for Disaster Management.
In 2002 he was selected for training as a First Responder and as an imparter of training in the event of a WMD attack. The training was organized in India by the US Govt. following 9/11.
He is one of the members of the East Delhi Disaster Management Committee, which functions under the District Administration.
He is also the technical advisor to the B.I.S. for laying down specifications and standardizations of Neurosurgical Instruments and Equipments.
He is also on the National Advisory Committee for National Neuro Trauma Conference 2004 C.M.C. Ludhiana.
He has presented many papers at many national and international conferences
